CR1 is an automotive grade SoC that is AEC-Q100 Grade 2 qualified. It can support up to two CMOS sensors and has an advanced image signal processor (ISP) that enables features such as high dynamic range (HDR), lens distortion correction (LDC) and more which are essential to automotive applications. It also includes a H.264 CODEC supporting up to 4Kp30. Moreover, a neural processing unit (NPU) is embedded in CR1 which can be used for ADAS functions such as FCWS, LDWS, PD and DMS. A variety of peripheral interfaces are also integrated to extend its connectivity and to reduce the total system BOM cost.
